Before applying, candidates are strictly advised to go through the eligibility criteria and other conditions set out in the detailed advertisement and attached document/guideline and the existing law including the rules as notified by the government from time to time.

The eligibility criteria for the said positions are as prescribed under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and the Bihar Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2017.

Further details of selection process and reservation for selection on JJB and CWC are uploaded on http://socialwelfare.bih.nic.in. Candidates applying for the position/s must read it carefully before submission of application.

Candidates are allowed to apply for both the JJB and CWC positions, if they meet the criteria. For each position, one must submit the applications separately.
|
The Selection Committee reserves the right of scheduling same or different dates for written test to be held for selection on JJB and CWC positions. Candidates shortlisted for both JJB and CWC positions will have to select the best suitable option and accordingly participate in the written test if it is held on the same date and in the same sitting.

Category-wise final merit list of candidates for both JJB and CWC positions will be announced after applying the approved cut off for each stage/level of selection process or reservation category. Selection of the candidates is subject to the decision of the Selection Committee constituted by the State Government and headed by a retired judge of the Hon’ble Patna High Court.

The number of positions in a district may increase or decrease based on the number of vacancies arising by the time final selection is done.
|
The State Government in consultation with the Selection Committee reserves the right to cancel or amend the selection process at any stage.
